  1. CreateHelp! v2.01

  3. CreateHelp! is an authoring tool for writing MS Windows help files.
  4. It requires MS Word for Windows v2.0x and HCxx - the MS Help compiler.
  5.  
  6. To install open the file INSTALL.DOC contained in the distribution archive and follow the instructions.
  7.  
  8. NOTE: When using the context sensitive help buttons you should switch back to CreateHelp! by pressing ALT+TAB or clicking on the title bar or status bar.  Clicking in the editing window will re-position the insertion point thus de-selecting any text.  This problem is being addressed.

  10. The CH_DEMO.* files are provided to give you ideas to best exploit the features of WinHelp and CreateHelp!

  12. Open CH_DEMO.HLP in WinHelp and have a look.

  14. To 'play' with the source files you must first copy CH_DEMO.DOC .DFN and .HPJ to your project directory. Then copy CH_DEMO.BMP and .SHG to your graphics directory.

  16. Use WinWord to File/Open CH_DEMO.DOC and look through the source files.
